In terms of research that when along with my final project I had to remember where I had originally got my idea to draw in sequence.
One of my favorite artists is a guy called Bleedman from deviantART. He does comics of cartoon characters in the Anime art style, and he just started his newest comic called SugarBits (Original story).
My book is based on Bleedman's process of drawing except it is done in traditional media, and it's more than four steps. ^^;Original Picture Source
I really wish I knew how to use Painter 9... I have it... no idea how to use it... O__O
